Ans. Batch Processing
- A method of running high-volume, repetitive data jobs
-In computer, execution of a series of commands without or minimal human interaction.
-Commands are stored in specific file called batch file with extension .bat
-Needed when large volume of data is to be processed

Booting
-Starting or restarting computer is known as booting
- Process of load operating system with system file from secondary storage to primary memory
- Makes computer ready for use

Types of booting
Cold boot: Starting computer by pressing power button of computer in off state
Warm boot: Restarting computer by pressing "Alt+Ctrl+Del' key on keyboard.

Attributes of DOS commands
-In terms of DOS commands attributes are additional properties which describes a command
-Come immediately after commands.
-Eg. DIR/S, here DIR is command that list out the files and directories in current directory. Character 'S' is attribute that stands for sub directories which displays list of sub directories and files inside current directory.

Wild cards
-Special symbols or characters that represent other characters.
-Used when name of file/directories are not known completely

Types of wild cards
-*-It represents one or more character in file name
-?-It represents only one character in file name.

Windows
- Single user, multitask GUI (Graphical User Interface) based operating system.
- Works by interaction with graphical symbols (icons)
-Developed by Microsoft
-Components of windows are: icon, desktop, task bar etc.
-First windows: Windows 1
- Latest windows: Windows 11

- लगातार ठूलो परिमाणमा गर्नु पर्ने कार्य गर्ने प्रक्रियालाई व्याच प्रोसेसिङ भनिन्छ

- कमान्डहरू निश्चित फाइलमा लेखिएका हुन्छन् र ती फाइलाई ब्याच फाइल भनिन्छ जसको

बुटिङ
-कम्प्युटर स्टार्ट वा रिस्टार्ट गर्ने प्रक्रियालाई बुटिङ भनिन्छ ।
- सेकेन्डरी मेमोरी (हार्ड डिस्क) मा भएका सिस्टम फाइललाई अपरेटिङ सिस्टमसँगै प्राइमरी मेमोरी (र्याम) मा लोड गर्ने प्रक्रिया
- कम्प्युटरलाई प्रयोग गर्नको लागि तयार गर्छ ।

बुटिङका प्रकार
कोल्ड बुट: कम्प्युटर अफ रहेको अवस्थामा पावर बटन दबाएर स्टार्ट गर्ने प्रक्रिया
वार्म बुट: ' Alt+Ctrl+Del' कीहरु दबाएर कम्प्युटरलाई रिस्टार्ट गर्ने प्रक्रिया

एट्रिब्युट Attributes
- डस कमान्डका एट्रिब्युट भन्नाले कमान्डका थप शेषताहरू भन्ने बुझिन्छ जसले कमान्डहरू कसरी रन हुने भनेर व्याखा गर्छ ।
- यो कम्मान्ड लगत्तै लेखिन्छ
-उदाहरण: DIR/S, यहाँ DIR भनेको कमान्ड हो जसले फाइल र फोल्डरको सूची देखाउँछ । अक्षर 'S' भनेको एट्रिब्युट हो जसले फोल्डर भित्रका अन्य सब फोल्डर र फाइलहरू समेत जनाउँछ ।

वाइल्ड कार्ड
- अन्य अक्षरहरूलाई जनाउने विशेष अक्षर वा संकेतलाई वाइल्ड कार्ड भनिन्छ ।
- फाइल तथा फोल्डरका पूरा नाम थाहा नहुँदा यिनको प्रयोग गरिन्छ ।

वाइल्ड कार्डका प्रकार
-*- फाइलको नाममा एक वा बढी अक्षरलाई जनाउँछ
-?- एउटा चिन्हले फाइलको नाममा एक मात्र अक्षरलाई जनाउँछ
